Always wash the sponge in lukewarm water. High temperature has a detrimental effect on its fibres. Do not use micellar liquids or strong detergents for cleaning. It is best to dip the sponge in a solution of lukewarm water with soap and oil. Then gently massage the sponge with your thumb, pressing it lightly. Rinse the sponge under cold water and let it dry in a ventilated place. Leave it to dry with the pointed end up. You can slightly squeeze the sponge by wrapping it with a paper towel to remove excess water. Do not use a hair dryer or hands!

I have to commend on this makeup sponge for the soft material it’s made of. It’s almost like velvet. The sponge doesn’t have pores like most sponges I’ve had so far, so it doesn’t leave streaks. And the fact that it doesn’t absorb water like crazy is a big plus. It dries quickly and is easy to keep clean. It’s easy to do make-up with it. However, I wouldn’t mind it if it was a bit smaller. I have small hands and sometimes I just feel that it’s not very handy.
